Our Extended Sale

So it’s already the 31st January and 2012 feels like a long time ago.

Already this year we’ve seen a fair bit of snow all over the UK and temperatures sitting uncomfortably below zero.  Considering we had one of the mildest January’s in history last year, this one’s felt even colder.  It’s understandable that as 2013 rolls on into February, we’re all trying to make your homes feel warmer.

Our Extended Sale allows more of you to take advantage of our up to 50% off offer, and we’ve even extended our promotion on entrance doors, so you can still buy a new front door from £995 – including installation!

With our products you’ll be able to better insulate your home against the cold for years to come, and you’ll be covered by our comprehensive guarantees.

Yes, spring’s just around the corner, but who knows what the weatherman will have in-store for us! And before you know it, winter will be upon us again with biting winds and draughts.

As well as being able to save up to 50% on selected products in our Editions range, you’ll get 10% cash back on your double glazing when you purchase using Everest Home Account.

Make your home warmer, more secure and less expensive to heat up – for up to half the cost, plus 10% cash back at the end of it – how does that sound?

The extended sale will end on 9th February at 4pm on the dot, so hurry and get those appointments booked because there’s not long left!

Modern World, Modern Home: Ultra Contemporary Doors

Every home needs a front door but your choice of design will rely heavily on your personal preferences. Offering the sophisticated look of a timber door but with the use of specially developed materials which offer unrivalled energy efficiency and stability, our traditional glass reinforced doors are already a popular option. But now there is an even better option for those with modern homes – Ultra Contemporary doors.

Ultra-contemporary-1

With a minimalistic and streamlined design, our Ultra Contemporary doors exude elegance. Offering you a style which is unlikely to go out of fashion, everything but the structure and composition of this new range differs from the classic design of our Traditional doors. We even offer the 10 year guarantee on the whole door and the lifetime guarantee on the sealed unit – something that can be transferred to new homeowners should you decide to move.

Why go modern?

For those with modern homes, these doors are ideal. You get all of the benefits you’d expect from modern craftsmanship without compromising on practical features. All of our doors are made-to-measure so you don’t need to worry about finding one that fits perfectly either. The high-quality material means these doors are virtually-maintenance-free, with assured durability against the material flaking or rotting.

Exclusive to Everest, there are a huge range of styles for you to choose from with customisation available on the letter box, glass panels, handles and even on which way the door opens. You can also choose to have the door a different colours on the inside to the outside, allowing you to maintain your interior design themes without influencing your home’s external appearance.

Ultra-contemporary-2

Using triple glazing for superior insulation and PAS23 and PAS24 testing for weather resistance performance against security standards, these doors are more than just a pretty front to your property.

All glass panels use toughened safety glass as standard and high-security hinges ensure every aspect of your door meets the highest security considerations. There’s also a weather drip fitted above the top of the door to deflect rain water away from the surface of the door to protect it against the elements.

Blogs Everest Loves: The Design Fairy

The world of interior design is diverse and versatile, and everyone has their own opinion on what looks good. Every month we like to throw the spotlight on like-minded bloggers who match our approach to homes with their style knowledge – but who has made the grade this month?

The Design Fairy

A great blog that is only just approaching its third birthday, The Design Fairy shares plenty of inspirational ideas for home decorating and interior design. We love the attention to detail that is shown and the use of images really helps bring posts to life; giving us visual aids that show just how certain trends work together.

Originally started when the owner was studying Interior Design, the blog shows a real progression of character which adds another dimension to the fantastic posts. It’s rare that you get to follow the growth and development of someone with such a keen interest in interior design and we certainly relish the opportunity to do so.

Why we love it

Perhaps an easier question to answer would be ‘what don’t we love about The Design Fairy?’ With plenty of interesting posts and an easy to navigate website, we can spend hours browsing this site.

The language is familiar and conversational – so you don’t feel like you need a university degree to understand what’s being discussed. A vast selection of categories means posts are well organised. This is ideal if you’re looking for inspiration on a particular theme (such as Shabby Chic) or product (such as cushions) or if you’re just looking to explore the various avenues of interior design at your own pace.

With tips on how to decorate certain rooms or prepare your home for a change in season as well as personal thoughts on popular trends and the design elements used by leading designers, The Design Fairy shows unyielding dedication to improving the appearance of our homes. Comments are encouraged on all posts and more often than not you’ll get a direct response – a trait we certainly love to see in bloggers.

Favourite posts

Whilst all of the posts on The Design Fairy offer a unique and personal approach to interior design there are some which go that extra mile. For those looking to read up on some of the latest trends and innovative ideas, here are a few of our favourite posts from the last month:

Pantone of 2013: Emerald Green
