Everest Product Spotlight: Boilers

An Everest Boiler can be easily stored in any convenient spot

We continue our series on Everest’s new energy-saving product line with a closer look at Everest Boilers and Heating systems. Your boiler system is at the heart of your home life – as you’ll know only too well if yours has ever stopped working! A damaged or out-of-date boiler can cost you a fortune in inflated heating bills and repairs, so it pays to make sure yours is effective. In fact, our studies have shown that installing an A-rated, energy efficient boiler could save you up to £500 a year on your heating bills.

The first step when buying a new boiler is deciding what kind is best suited to your home. There are two major types of boiler on the market – combination boilers and conventional boilers. Both have distinct advantages depending on what kind of home you live in.

The Combination Boiler is an increasing popular choice for its space-saving qualities. They don’t require a separate hot water cylinder or tanks in the loft. They can often be fitted within a kitchen cabinet or located in a convenient cupboard.

Conventional boiler systems work using a boiler, hot water storage cylinder and water tanks. Their high flow rate makes them ideal for low water pressure areas and multi-bathroom homes.

To get the best out of your boiler system you should ensure your radiators are in good condition too. Over time they can become clogged with rust, sludge and other debris, causing circulation problems and compromising the effectiveness of your boiler. Everest can provide new radiators for your home if necessary. We also offer a power-cleansing service when we fit your boiler, thoroughly flushing and cleaning your entire heating system.

When we install your new boiler system, we can also fit user-friendly controls which allow you to programme your hot water and your central heating independently of each other. This means you can regulate your heating system much more efficiently and reduce unnecessary gas use.

You can find out more about Everest heating systems on our boilers homepage. Don’t forget that our consultants are happy to talk through your heating options with you when you make a free, no obligation appointment. You can also visit our Everest Energy section to learn about our other products and services which can complement your heating system to make your home even more energy efficient.
